Playhouse Theatre Academy: RE-IMAGINING THE CLASSICS (Via Zoom)

Instructor: Madeline Sayet Ages 18 & up What do Shakespeare’s words mean to you today? And how might that inspire audiences and collaborators to listen and connect in new ways? This acting workshop will guide performers through the process of making unique, distinctive, imaginative choices with classic monologues. This workshop is focused on empowering the performer’s voice and the freshness of their perspective in how they approach texts that have been passed down for hundreds of years. Playhouse Theatre Academy is dedicated to offering professional theatre programs for emerging artists of all ages and abilities.
