Veterans & PTSD: Mending the Wounded Soul

In honor of our military veterans and their families, the John P. Webster Library presents “Veterans and PTSD: Mending the Wounded Soul” Sunday, November 10, 3 p.m. in the JPW Library Although about 8 percent of the general public have experienced PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) at some point in their lives, the rate is higher for U.S. veterans – 12 percent to 15 percent of veterans have been diagnosed with PTSD. Please join Robert J. Caffrey and Rev. Dr. Molly Louden in the JPWL to explore and learn more about this painful aspect of military service. Our monthly Taize service follows this program; participants are encouraged to attend!
